Howard Brown & Sons Auto Body

Howard Brown & Sons is the kind of family-owned business that is becoming increasingly rare, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I originally went to them to repair a dent on the back of my car. The quality of their work was excellent, but what impressed me even more was something they did for me for which they received absolutely no financial benefit. I had previously had collision repairs performed elsewhere and had serious concerns about the quality of that work. Brad at Howard Brown carefully inspected the car and prepared a detailed written assessment of the deficiencies he found. He did this without charging me. His professional evaluation gave me the documentation I needed to go back to the original repair facility, which ultimately undertook a substantial revision of its work. That experience told me more about Howard Brown & Sons than any advertisement could. Brad was not trying to sell me unnecessary work or persuade me to move the repair to his shop. He simply took the time to determine what was wrong, explain it clearly, document it properly, and help me protect my interests. This is a family-run business that combines technical competence with honesty, judgm

I obviously dread needing my car fixed, but Howard Brown and Sons makes the process as painless as possible every time. They’re easy to work with — communicative without being overwhelming, just clear and friendly info that puts you at ease. This time they went above and beyond tracking down a part that had been backordered for months, and still got the job done quickly. Huge shoutout to Brad, my service advisor, for taking such good care of me, especially since I showed up pretty emotional and overwhelmed. Highly recommend!

This is the place to take your Beemer. They use only OEM parts and put them back together to spec for us, which is important to BMW fans like us. Especially the //M crew. Carlos was a pro from start to finish. Their team have attention to detail. Cheers!

Easily the best and, more importantly, the most honest body shop in West LA. They did excellent work repairing my car door after a hit-and-run, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. Communication was outstanding; they kept me updated on exactly what needed to be done and gave me a clear and accurate timeline for when the car would be ready. I worked directly with Guy, who was incredibly easygoing and professional. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. They’ve earned a customer for life and I’ll definitely be referring friends and family to them whenever they need a trustworthy body shop.

Amazing work for a great price! I had searched high and low for an estimate to repair my girlfriend‘s car and all of them seemed a lot higher than I thought they should be. A friend of mine sent me over to Craig and the minute he handed me the estimate I booked the service. Turnaround time was exceptional and I’m really really happy with how her car looks. Is it strange that I can’t wait for my next car accident? That’s how I feel knowing how well these guys take care of people.
